There is exactly one advertising slot on this website. It sits directly below the header on every page, it belongs to one business at a time, and it is available by the month for a modest fee.

If you run a flower shop and you want the people browsing this directory to see your name before they see anyone else's, that is the space to take.

What you get

• The whole slot, to yourself. We do not rotate advertisers or run several at once. While you have it, it is yours on every page.
• Your own artwork, headline and link. Send us a banner image and we will use it, or tell us what you want it to say and we will put it together for you.
• It points wherever you want. Your own website, your online ordering page, a seasonal offer, a phone number. Your choice, and you can change it during the month.
• Changes go live the same day. Usually within minutes.

What it costs

A flat monthly fee, and a deliberately small one. It is priced for an independent flower shop rather than a national chain, and it is billed by the month with nothing locked in.

You get the numbers, not a guess

Every click on the banner is counted, and we will send you a report showing clicks by month and by day for your run. Ask for it any time and we will send the current figures rather than waiting for the end of the month.

Two things we will tell you up front, because they matter more than a big number would:

• The count is measured, not estimated. Clicks are recorded when they happen. Visitors using an ad blocker are not counted, so the real figure is our figure or a little higher, never lower.
• Ask us for current traffic before you commit. We will tell you honestly what the site is getting rather than publishing a flattering number on this page. If it is not worth your money yet, we would rather say so and have you come back later.

What it does not buy

Worth being direct about this, because it is the first thing a florist reasonably assumes.

• It does not move you up the listings. Florists are listed alphabetically and nothing changes that. The banner is a banner.
• It is not a listing. If what you actually want is your opening hours, delivery area and photographs on your own page, that is claiming your listing, which is a one-time fee and a different thing entirely. Plenty of shops want that and not this.
• It is not shown during checkout. The banner is hidden on our own payment pages, so nobody is being pulled away mid-transaction. That applies to your ad as much as ours.
