2 local flower shops in Columbia County
Evans has two florists, more than anywhere else in Columbia County. That is a small enough choice that same-day work is worth phoning about rather than assuming, particularly on the run-up to a holiday when a small shop books out quickly.
If nothing here suits, the nearest larger choice is Augusta, about 7 miles away, with 17 florists. Bear in mind that a shop delivering out of its own town will usually charge more for it and may need more notice.
The growing season runs later here than almost anywhere, so local material is still coming in when northern shops have switched entirely to imports. It is worth asking a local florist what they have been cut this week rather than ordering from a picture.
Only 2 florists are listed under Evans itself. Most shops around here file their address under Augusta, where there are 17, about 6.9 miles away.
