3 local flower shops in Fairfax County
Lorton has three florists, the 11th largest selection in Fairfax County, where Fairfax accounts for 17 on its own. That is a small enough choice that same-day work is worth phoning about rather than assuming, particularly on the run-up to a holiday when a small shop books out quickly. All of them list a website as well as a phone number.
If nothing here suits, the nearest larger choice is Springfield, about 2 miles away, with 4 florists. Bear in mind that a shop delivering out of its own town will usually charge more for it and may need more notice.
A long, mild autumn keeps local growers cutting well past the point where northern supply has finished, especially zinnias, sunflowers and dahlias. These are worth asking for specifically.
Only 3 florists are listed under Lorton itself. Most shops around here file their address under Alexandria, where there are 28, about 7.9 miles away.
