2 local flower shops in Jefferson County
Prospect has two florists, the 3rd largest selection in Jefferson County, where Louisville accounts for 44 on its own. That is a small enough choice that same-day work is worth phoning about rather than assuming, particularly on the run-up to a holiday when a small shop books out quickly.
If nothing here suits, the nearest larger choice is Louisville, about 11 miles away, with 44 florists. Bear in mind that a shop delivering out of its own town will usually charge more for it and may need more notice.
A long, mild autumn keeps local growers cutting well past the point where northern supply has finished, especially zinnias, sunflowers and dahlias. These are worth asking for specifically.
Only 2 florists are listed under Prospect itself. Most shops around here file their address under Louisville, where there are 44, about 11.2 miles away.
