Florists in Richmond, KY

Richmond has seven florists, more than anywhere else in Madison County. That is enough to compare on style and price rather than taking the first quote, and independent shops differ more on both than their listings suggest. Six list a website; the other takes orders by phone.

If nothing here suits, the nearest larger choice is Lexington, about 22 miles away, with 30 florists. Bear in mind that a shop delivering out of its own town will usually charge more for it and may need more notice.

A long, mild autumn keeps local growers cutting well past the point where northern supply has finished, especially zinnias, sunflowers and dahlias. These are worth asking for specifically.
