Florists in Olney, MD

Olney has one florist, the 15th largest selection in Montgomery County, where Rockville accounts for 20 on its own. With one shop covering the town, ring before setting out: a single florist is more likely to be out on deliveries or closed for a funeral than a larger operation.

If nothing here suits, the nearest larger choice is Gaithersburg, about 6 miles away, with 18 florists. Bear in mind that a shop delivering out of its own town will usually charge more for it and may need more notice.

A long, mild autumn keeps local growers cutting well past the point where northern supply has finished, especially zinnias, sunflowers and dahlias. These are worth asking for specifically.
