2 local flower shops in Albany County
Altamont has two florists, the 5th largest selection in Albany County, where Albany accounts for 15 on its own. That is a small enough choice that same-day work is worth phoning about rather than assuming, particularly on the run-up to a holiday when a small shop books out quickly.
If nothing here suits, the nearest larger choice is Schenectady, about 8 miles away, with 7 florists. Bear in mind that a shop delivering out of its own town will usually charge more for it and may need more notice.
Autumn is a long, productive season in this region, with dahlias running to the first frost alongside chrysanthemums, berried branches and turning foliage. Local material stays available later than most people expect.
Only 2 florists are listed under Altamont itself. Most shops around here file their address under Albany, where there are 15, about 12 miles away.
